Hello again Internet! It’s been busy busy busy here in the dungeon. I’ve had a great time with the last few sessions. I have many more photos to share with you, starting with this latest group from Hannah’s Sweet 16 session. You’ll notice a neat thing when you look at Hannah’s photos. She’s really showing a range of looks in these photos. She went from uptown to punk in her session. Whenever possible, I like for my subjects to wear clothes that are things they would normally wear, instead of dressing up for me. I mean, I’m making a portrait, not a movie. It should be about you, looking like you, acting like you. However, Hannah decided she wanted to step outside her normal comfort zone and try something new. So out came the funky clothes and makeup. Between you and me, I was a little hesitant when she suggested the punk idea, since it’s not really her thing. But I wanted her session to be exactly what she wanted, all about her, and not anyone else. In the end, I have to give her all the credit, cause the photos ROCK. And although I had to loan her a few accessories, the attitude (and the concept) was all her. Looks like Hannah is a little bit punk rocker. Enjoy!
