“There is a room in the Department of Mysteries that is kept locked at all times. It contains a force that is at once more wonderful and more terrible than death, than human intelligence, than the forces of nature. It is also, perhaps, the most mysterious of the many subjects for study that reside there.” — Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Today I’d like to introduce you to Jenny and Kyle. For their wedding, we traveled to the mountains of northeastern Tennessee, near the North Carolina state line, one of the most beautiful regions in the southeast. Jenny and Kyle are pretty neat. In addition to being practically superheroes (no kidding, Kyle is a paramedic), they are also mega-cool (Jenny’s so cool, her hometown is Fairbanks, Alaska). Further proof that they are mega-cool is the fact that upon our first internet meeting, they both immediately recognized the classic 80’s movie reference on the T-shirt I was wearing. Anybody who’s a fan of Chris Farley is someone I like. And of course, anyone who can ask four friends to choose and perform readings during their wedding ceremony without approving them in advance is living right. As much as I love my friends, they all enjoy torturing me a little too much (I’m looking at you, Leslie). In fact, I’m pretty sure you’re probably wondering right now if you could trust your friends to choose perfect readings for your wedding day without your supervision and approval ahead of time. Jenny and Kyle could. Their friends chose beautiful, funny, eloquent, and touching readings that made the day even more special for the couple. There were even some tears. Now that’s love.
So, if you thought those photos were pretty neat and you’d like to see a little more of Jenny and Kyle’s awesome wedding day, just play the slideshow and you’ll smile for the rest of the day.
Thank you Jenny and Kyle for being the coolest couple ever. It was really wonderful to hang out with you guys and be a part of your big day. And thank you to all your friends and family for being so generous and welcoming. It was great fun to get to know all of you. Thanks for all the laughs and compliments and tasty food. You are all amazing.
