Today I would like to introduce you to a pair of absolutely remarkable people. Meet Christen and Jonothon. They had their wedding in downtown historic Charleston at the very lovely St. Luke’s Chapel on one of the last warm days of summer. When you meet Christen and Jonothon in person, the thing you notice is that they are genuinely kind people… they’re just so nice. And not that ‘bless your heart’ southern nice, but the kind of nice that you know means they actually care about you. It’s something that you notice reflected in the way they treat each other as well. They’ve been a couple since they were in grade school together, and they’ve grown up together, but more importantly, they’ve grown together. You can tell that they are a team. And if I had to guess, I’d bet they learned it from the wonderful people in their families. You see, Christen’s grandparents have been married over 50 years, and Christen’s parents have been married 26 or 27 years (there was some debate… ahem…). And they all still like each other.
And if you enjoyed all these photos and want to see a lot more, be sure to play the video slideshow below.
And that is how a southern lady and gentleman begin their married life together. Many thanks are in order here, first to Christen and Jonothon for choosing to have me be a part of this beautiful day. And thanks to Erin and James for telling Christen and Jonothon about me. Oh and thanks to Joy and Doug for telling Erin and James about me. Also, I’d like to thank all Christen and Jonothon’s family and friends for all the big and little things they did all day to help make everything happen. It has been a joy working with all of you.
