“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond
measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be
brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” – Marianne Williamson

Today I’d like to tell you the story of how Margie and Kyle were married on a warm winter afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesville, North Carolina, with Margie’s mom officiating, and everyone else smiling so hard their cheeks hurt. We first met Margie and Kyle a couple of weeks ago when I drove up and spent the afternoon making epic engagement photos in the mountains with them. Even though their engagement session and wedding were only a few days apart, the weather couldn’t have been more different, with much warmer temperatures for their wedding day. There was also an abundance of laughter and joy and fantastic dancers. After the ceremony at the church, there was a very sweet reception hosted by the church, and then everyone headed to Crest Pavilion in the hills overlooking Asheville for an energetic and exciting wedding reception with all the best dancing. Take a look and enjoy.
