Fox Theatre Wedding | Sarah and Randy

a newlywed wedding portrait inside atlanta fox theatre-1

Hello again.  It’s time again to share some photos of Sarah and Randy with you.  You met them a little while back when we spent a fun afternoon in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park making their sunset engagement photos.  As awesome as their engagement session was, Sarah and Randy really raised the awesome bar by choosing the iconic Fabulous Fox Theatre as the location for their amazing wedding.  As an interesting-ish aside, I just want to note for all the non-Atlantans reading the blog today that the name of the place is actually just The Fox Theatre, but everyone who lives in Atlanta refers to it as The Fabulous Fox Theatre because that’s how the announcer guys on the telly and the radio always refer to it… try to imagine it with the voice from the movie phone guy and you’ve got it.  But anyway, we were talking about Sarah and Randy and their really perfect wedding.  Sarah started the afternoon by getting ready across the street at the also iconic Atlanta hotel The Georgian Terrace, and after a few portraits in the hotel, we headed across the street to The Fox. A short time later, Randy and his groomsmen arrived at The Fox for their photos, and Randy even made a new friend while we were making photos out front.  Despite the overcast and rainy skies, it seems that everyone around us was in great spirits and ready to celebrate.  Take a look.

And that, internet friends, is how Sarah and Randy rocked the Casbah… well, The Fox.  Sorry, I couldn’t resist.  Who doesn’t love all that Moorish architecture?  But as pretty a place as The Fabulous Fox Theater is for a wedding, it couldn’t hold a candle to the amazing people who were there.  And although there were a lot of amazing moments that happened that evening, there were a couple of moments that really stood out to me.  The first is when Benjamin, who was officiating, actually got a bit choked up during the ceremony and had to pause to compose himself.  That’s love.  And the second is Sarah and her brother Scott leading everyone in a enthusiastic sing-along to Sweet Home Alabama on the dance floor as the reception wound down.  It was a really awesome night, and I’m so glad that Sarah and Randy chose us to be a part of their amazing day.  Thank you Sarah and Randy for being so incredibly amazing and sharing your special day with us.  It’s been a lot of fun getting to know you guys.  Congratulations!!!
