Austin Family Photos | Whitney and Ross

Moving a little further east and getting closer to the end of the reunion tour, I made it to Austin to visit Whitney and Ross and their adorable twins, who are bonafide supermodels. By this point in my trip, I wasn’t sure where I was anymore, but Ross knew exactly how to handle it and told me that the fridge was full of craft beer to sample when we were done. Whitney really hit the jackpot with him. Since Austin had enough humidity to swim in, we had my favorite type of family session and made photos at home with everyone just relaxing and playing and snacking in a familiar environment near abundant air conditioning. Honestly though, humidity or not, making family photos at home is just extra special. There’s a sweetness to the photos that comes from everyone being in a familiar place doing things that are part of their daily routine. And I like to think that they’ll have more sentimental meaning in the years to come. Of course you know, I made plenty of photos of the fur baby too.

Thank you Whitney and Ross for bravely inviting me into your home and for the beers and, most importantly, the amazing pleasure of your company. It was wonderful seeing you in your new home in your new (to Ross) city just being your perfect selves.
